Best places to bet in the football pyramid

Betting@Betfair have experts for every division in the Football League, as well as a Non-league specialist, and here are their top tips for this weekend's action...

League One
Oldham head into this clash with Bristol Rovers off the back of a JPT defeat to Shrewsbury. Not a bad thing, as manager Paul Dickov rested a few, with Jason Jarrett and Ritchie Jones back in the equation for this Saturday. Rovers have defensive problems, and doesn't manager Paul Trollope know it. Having been brushed aside by Southampton last Saturday, the Gas opted to hump balls to the front pair - which patently didn't work - or won't work. Rovers and their front two tend to get isolated too much in a game, which should give [1.98] favourites Oldham plenty of ball and the chance to create.

League Two
At [2.12], Graham Westley's Stevenage are possibly a little short as they are still feeling their way into the Football League, but they will come up against far more formidable opponents than Crewe, who are flattered by having that 7-0 thrashing of Barnet to their name. The exit of Charlie Griffin after a clash of heads last Saturday has to be a bit of a worry, but Robbie Sinclair and Michael Bostwick will still create chances for Chris Beardsley.

Non-league
Sunday's Newport versus Wrexham clash provides a clearer banker. Dean Holdsworth is doing an impressive job with the Exiles. They took a couple of games to find their feet with the step up to the new level but Craig Reid and co have been nurtured to play football as a team game which is why they ran away with the BSS last season and notched their first win of this season against Kidderminster last Saturday. Newport look a good price for a home win at [2.3].
