Day 37: Sheffield Wednesday to beat Chesterfield at [1.78]
With so few games happening today we're not going crazy with the odds and are sticking our cash on Sheffield Wednesday to beat Chesterfield in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
The Owls have had a disappointing start to life in League One, with only one win in their last six games leaving them stuck in the doldrums of mid-table (although they're only two points off the play-off places, such is the tightness of the league).
Chesterfield's start to their League Two season has been far more encouraging for John Sheridan and his men. They are currently in second place having only lost one of their opening ten games.
However, they have yet to record two consecutive victories this term, and their 5-5 draw against Crewe in their last game will be a cause for concern.
Wednesday have failed to score in their last three games at Hillsborough. But with the visit of Chesterfield - who have only kept one clean sheet in their last eight matches - we can see that being remedied tonight.
