Back MK Dons & Torquay for first-leg wins
Saturday and Sunday sees the first legs of the League One and League Two play-off semi-finals take place, with all four available to watch on Sky Sports. We've picked out the best bets for every match...
Bournemouth v Huddersfield (Saturday, 12.45pm, Sky Sports 1)
Both regular season collisions between these two finished level and a third successive draw is available to back at [3.6]. Huddersfield are clear favourites to qualify at [1.5] and it's difficult to fault that price given that they have gone 25 League One matches unbeaten, while Bournemouth's promotion bid already appears to be in danger of fizzing out following a run of only two wins in 12.
Torquay v Shrewsbury (Saturday, 5.30pm, Sky Sports 1)
The Gulls ended the season in disappointing fashion and drew their last three games at Plainmoor 0-0, so Paul Buckle will hope that the visit of a team they thumped 5-0 in March will awake them from their slumber. Shrewsbury haven't conceded in five outings though so under 2.5 goals looks the pick of the punts at [1.75], with the hosts the more likely of the two to nick a first-leg victory at [2.34].
MK Dons v Peterborough (Sunday, 12pm, Sky Sports 1)
How significant will Peterborough's return to form last week prove? They recovered from a stretch of two wins in nine by thumping Dagenham 5-0, yet are set to struggle to build on that against an MK Dons side that triumphed in four of their five League One home matches against top-six rivals, including Posh in March. Buckinghamshire's finest have won nine of their last 13 and are [2.64] to deliver again.
Stevenage v Accrington (Sunday, 6.30pm, Sky Sports 1)
Accrington boast the longest undefeated streak in League Two and that should ensure that they leave Broadhall Way on Sunday as favourites to progress to the final at Old Trafford. Stevenage have only lost three times there throughout the campaign but failed to beat any of the top eight there, drawing seven such encounters. Another share-spoiler therefore stands out as the best bet at [3.4].
