Back these boys to bag goals tonight
We've tipped Manchester United to struggle against Valencia, Barcelona to beat Rubin Kazan and Rangers to grind out a win against Bursaspor. But who'll be among the goals this evening? Here's our three best bets:
Marko Marin (Werder Bremen)
It's hard to see Werder Bremen walking away from the San Siro with much tonight, given they're facing the holders Inter Milan, but if one man is likely to score, it's the supremely talented Marko Marin. Bremen have had a habit of producing brilliant playmakers, with Diego and Mesut Ozil having flourished there and in Marin, they seemed to have uncovered another gem. Quick, skillful and a talented from dead ball situations, a long-range effort from Marin may be the best bet if Bremen are to breach Inter's rugged defence. Priced at [7.0] to find the net, he certainly seems worth a go.
David Villa (Barcelona)
Two goals in five games is pretty shabby given Villa's usual goalscoring record, bur you'd fancy him to change that in Russia tonight. Rated [2.1] to score against Rubin Kazan, Villa can once again enjoy the delightful service of Lionel Messi (if fit), Xaxi, Andres Iniesta, Dani Alves, the list is endless and the chances he gets probably will be too.
Raul (Schalke 04)
He may not be the force he used to be in European football, but Raul isn't the all-time leading goalscorer in the Champions League for no reason. Now teamed up with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar at Schalke 04 and looking fitter and sharper than he has done for years, Raul is a hugely tempting bet at [3.7] to add to the 66 goals he already has in the competition.
