Easily solvable dilemma of the day - how do Almeria hold the second worst home record in La Liga despite only losing three times in front of their fans? The answer of course is that they love a draw at the Mediterraneo Stadium, and we're betting that there will be another on Thursday at [3.7].
The club stuck at the bottom of the Spanish top tier host Racing Santander in what ominously is their only remaining opportunity to host a bottom-half rival, and they have only beaten one of the seven teams sandwiched between them and Racing, drawing five of those encounters.
So while the side representing the Pogues' favourite Spanish coastal city have finally recorded their first two home wins of the season over the last two months, seeing off Osasuna and Espanyol having had the fortune to catch both at mid-slump, that luck has deserted them with the visit of Racing.
The top-flight semi-regulars have gone five matches without defeat, drawing three of those, and they haven't been easy ties either, facing Champions League-bound Valencia and Villarreal as well as last year's fourth-placed team Villarreal in that run, while they have drawn half their games with the bottom four.
That's enough evidence to suggest that another spoil-sharer is likely this evening but further reason to fancy the sides to prove inseparable are that their last two meetings in Almeria both finished level.
