Wales to enter vital games with new boss?
Speculation that John Toshack is going to end his near six-year spell as Wales boss has grown since Friday night's 1-0 loss to Montenegro, with reports suggesting that he has often to resign ahead of next month's double header with Bulgaria and Switzerland, but will stay on a little longer if required.
Having lasted just 41 days when first hired in 1994, Toshack is currently the longest serving coach of all the Home Nations, however the defeat in Podgorica - hardly a huge shock considering Montenegro have been beaten in only one competitive home game - has forced him to contemplate quitting.
Wales haven't come close to qualifying for a tournament during Toshack's tenure, having been a match away from reaching Euro 2004 under his predecessor Mark Hughes, and several former players, least surprisingly Robbie Savage, have suggested that the former Real Madrid chief's time is up.
A dream team comprising of Ryan Giggs and successful Under-21 manager Brian Flynn has been spoken about as the ideal solution, though it's unclear how viable that is. Wales are [11.0] to recover from their poor start by topping Group G.
