Flynn to make his point against Bulgaria

Brian Flynn takes charge of his first game as Wales caretaker manager, and faces a hard task to bag all three points. And the absence of a couple of star strikers means we may be in for a tight game.

Bulgaria will be without Dimitar Berbatov because of his retirement from the international game, and his goals (he scored 48 in 77 games) will be a huge miss to the visitors. Meanwhile, Wales will be without skipper Craig Bellamy, who hasn't recovered from a knee injury.

In their opening 4-0 defeat to group leaders England, the Bulgarians showed nothing that should worry Wales. Without the talismanic Berbatov leading the line, they looked toothless and never troubled Joe Hart.

Wales also struggled to create any opportunities in their opener against Montenegro, as they slumped to a 1-0 defeat, that ultimately cost John Toshack his job.

However, both teams boast left-footers who - on their day - are certainly capable of unlocking a defence. Bolton's Martin Petrov has started to fire again and will provide a few uncomfortable moments for the Welsh defence. Meanwhile, Wales' Gareth Bale is one of the most promising young players in Britain, and has been brilliant again this season.

Bulgaria haven't won on their last five away days, and have managed just two goals in that period, while Wales have won three and lost two of their previous five matches on home soil.

They look very evenly matched and we can't see 90 minutes of football separating them. Back Wales to get their first draw since a stalemate against Germany in November 2007 at [3.25].

Can Flynn get off to the perfect start at [2.74]? Let us know below...
