Group I - Scotland in second place battle

Spain should easily win this group. The defending European and world champions got off to a winning start thanks to a comfortable 4-0 win over Liechtenstein and are huge favourites to top the group at [1.07].

Their next game is against Lithuania tomorrow and they are expected to easily win at [1.1], they should also come through against Scotland on Tuesday with a minimum of fuss at [1.45]. They are the best team in the world and shouldn't even break a sweat in making it to Euro 2012.

Tuesday's opponents, Scotland ([8.2]), have started the group in tidy fashion, picking up four points from their opening two games. However, a decent draw away to Lithuania was nearly wiped out by a home draw against Liechtenstein, before Stephen McManus popped up with a winner seven minutes into injury time.

The Scots are in a battle for second with the Czech Republic ([6.0]). The Czech's opening game was a disappointing 1-0 home defeat to Lithuania. It's a game they were expected to win, and if they suffer defeat against Scotland tomorrow, then they will be facing an uphill battle to make the play-off spot.

The Czech's are [1.72] favourites to win that clash and, unfortunately for Scotland, we can see them just about nicking a win.

Finally, we have Lithuania ([21.0]) and Liechtenstein ([32.0]). Neither of these sides will win the group, or even threaten second place. So it's a battle between them to avoid the wooden spoon.

As they already have four points on the board, Lithuania should avoid the ignomy of finishing bottom.
