Tuesday's massive German Cup multiple
Tuesday's suggested multiple: Back Bayern Munich to beat Werder Bremen, FSV Frankfurt to lose against Schalke, and Freiburg to beat Energie Cottbus for combined odds of [7.64].
The DFB Cup - Germany's equivalent to the FA Cup - gets back underway this evening, with defending champions Bayern Munich looking to put their poor early season form behind them.
In a repeat of last season's final, they face a Werder Bremen side who they have faced once already in the league this season, with the sides playing out a goalless draw.
Bremen will be desperate to avenge their 4-0 final defeat last season but, with Bayern now going three games without defeat, we can see them continuing their defence into the next round.
Our second game sees German second tier side FSV Frankfurt facing a Schalke side who have won just one of nine Bundesliga games this term. It's a bitterly disappointing start for a team that finished second last term, but they should overcome a side who are currently sixth in the division below them.
Finally, Freiburg may have lost their last two away games, but they were against opposition of far greater quality than second tier side Energie Cottbus. Cottbus have lost three of their last four, and shouldn't add to their win tally against a team that's seventh in the Bundesliga.
