Back England - get refunded if they slip up
With Georgia, Albania and Estonia keeping things entertaining by making surprisingly strong starts to Euro 2012 qualifying, we're reluctant to follow others in writing the process off as boring, partly out of recognition that it will be a whole lot duller in four years when 24 teams progress.
However, for some reason, England's campaigns always tend to be dreary - with the exception of World Cup 2002, when they were paired with Germany, and Euro 2008, when it all went wrong.
Tuesday's game is therefore a welcome change, because Montenegro have beaten every other team in Group G once, meaning that if they can snatch at point ore more at Wembley, they may be able to mount an unexpectedly sustained challenge for top spot, despite being bottom seeds.
It remains a long shot though, as England have won 11 successive games at the national stadium, a run stretching over two years, which is why they are [1.26] favourites to make it a perfect dozen.
Thanks to our special offer for those opening new Betfair accounts, you can stake up to £30 on this match or on absolutely anything that catches your eye within seven days of signing up and any losing wagers will be refunded.
Of course, those who fancy putting a few quid on the visitors at [15.5] or draw at [6.8] will point out that Montenegro were similarly underestimated in their first three ties, and that they've lost only three of their 13 competitive fixtures, and just one of the last six.
Zlatko Kranjcar's impressive newcomers to the international scene have only triumphed in one away qualifier in their short existence however, and only two of their overall dozen matches outside of Podgorica, so it would a major shock if the Three Lions were halted.
Montenegro will pose far more of a threat than Bulgaria did when thumped 4-0 last month though, so the [4.7] available on them holding out until half-time before eventually being overcome by the hosts appeals, while England scoring in both halves can be opposed at [2.08].
