Thursday's massive Brazilian multiple
Thursday's suggested bet: We're backing Flamengo to beat Atletico-GO, Goias to draw with Cruzeiro, and Palmeiras to see off Avai for combined odds of [9.76]
To celebrate our return to South American betting, we're going big with our multiple tonight.
After a run of only two wins in 17 games Brazilian top tier side Flamengo are precariously close to the relegation zone. They face an Atletico-GO side who themselves occupy the final relegation spot - just four points behind Flamengo.
With just one win in their previous 14 away games, we can't see Atletico-GO getting anything out of this, and fancy Flamengo to end their run of four draws and a defeat in their last five games, with a win tonight.
Even further down the Brazilian table is Goiás. They are second from bottom on 25 points after 27 games. They have picked up in recent weeks though and, after suffering six straight defeats, have gone on to lose just twice in their last eight.
They face a tricky task to get anything out of their game with Cruzeiro, but with the visitors heading into this game on the back of a 4-1 defeat against Santos, we can see Goiás getting a much needed point.
Yet another side in the midst of a relegation battle is Avai. They are just three points and one spot above the drop zone - and things don't look like improving this evening. Palmeiras have only lost once in their last eight games and should have more than enough to see off Avai on home soil.
