Group A - Germany set to coast through
After two qualifying games, Germany are massive favourites to win Group A at [1.25]. They overcame Belgium 1-0 in their opening qualifying match, before sweeping aside Azerbaijan 6-1 in their second.
They face Turkey in their next qualifying game, with a victory all but guaranteeing them a smooth passage to Euro 2012. They are currently [1.52] to beat the Turks, who are second favourites to top the group at [4.2] after getting off to a perfect start with wins over Kazakhstan and Belgium.
Austria ([30.0]) are currently in third place in the group, and have a game in hand over Germany and Turkey. In their only match so far, they came through 2-0 against Kazakhstan, and with their game in hand being against Azerbaijan, they look good to push Germany and Turkey all the way.
No points from their first two games means that Belgium are struggling to make the play-off spot and their odds of [20.0] reflect the difficulty they will have in qualifying after such a poor start.
Kazakhstan are still at [20.0] to win the group, and are expected to prop up the group along with Azerbaijan who are the same price.
However, don't completely ignore the minnows. Kazakhstan are a very tempting [4.2] to get a draw against Belgium in their next game. Which could be well worth a punt considering it took two injury time goals from Austria for them to win in Kazakhstan in their last game.
