Day 70: We're backing Novara to beat Reggina at [2.04]

The northern Italian side have sustained the form that saw them crowned third-tier champions to top Serie B on their return to the division after a 34-year absence and they boast a two-point advantage over early pacesetters Siena, which we fancy them to extend tonight at home to Reggina.
The visitors have been doing pretty well themselves and sit fourth, having won three times on their travels, however there's a clear pattern to their away form. All three of their victories have come against bottom-half teams, while their four against clubs in the top eight have produced only one point, while they have been humbled 4-0 by Padova (sixth) and 3-0 by Livorno (seventh).
Novara's record at the Stadio Silvio Piola is remarkable for a promoted side, with six triumphs and a draw to show from their seven as hosts to date. There have been a fair few scalps in that run - most notably Livorno (4-1) and Atalanta and their defence has creaked just three times in front of their own fans.
It's true that they were held in their last home game, against top-half regulars Empoli but that mini-blip, which also saw them held away by Ascoli, was arrested last weekend courtesy of a win in Piacenza. Trust them at [2.04] to prove today that successive promotions are a genuine possibility.
