Day 164: We're backing Dynamo Kiev to beat Sporting Braga to nil at [2.5]

As touched on elsewhere on Betfair Football, Dynamo Kiev's record since the Yuri Semin returned as manager has been hugely impressive and that's why we're putting faith in his team dispatching of Liverpool's Europa League conquerors Sporting Braga fairly comfortably this evening.

The Ukrainian club are [2.5] to win to nil and that's a hugely generous price given that all four of their games at the Lobanovsky Dynamo Stadium in 2011 in that fashion, scoring 11 goals in the process and seeing off the likes of tournament favourites Manchester City in the process.

Braga meanwhile are far from the most prolific side left in the competition and find it difficult to sculpt clear goalscoring opportunities on their travels, as proven by the shocking statistic that they have found the net in just one of their last five European away matches, firing blanks in the last three.

So with the Portuguese runners-up unlikely to trouble the hosts, the only worry is that Dynamo will fail to take their chances, however their strike rate in this year's Europa League suggests that they shouldn't have too much trouble.

They thumped four past Besiktas in the round-of-32 and struck twice against Manchester City in round-of-16, and Braga haven't always been as solid defensively as they were over the two legs against Liverpool, shipping six at Arsenal and three at Sevilla.

Our bet: We're backing Dynamo Kiev to defeat Sporting Braga to nil at [2.5], meaning that - before factoring in commission - we stand to win £15. The same punt pays only £12.50 with Ladbrokes. Sign up for a new account now and have your first bet of up to £25 refunded if it loses.
