Sporting Braga to complete Sevilla shock

Despite successfully predicting that Sporting Braga would defeat Sevilla in the first leg of their Champions League qualifier, our initial hunch was that the Spanish side would overhaul the advantage in the return fixture at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

However, the Portuguese Liga runners-up made home advantage count even more than we expected, keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory that puts them in a great position, far greater than their odds of [2.38] to qualify suggests.

After all, it's not as if Sevilla's record as hosts should intimidate any European visitors. Last season the Rojiblancos beat just one of La Liga's bottom five in front of their own fans, and their Champions League exit was a result of a 2-1 home loss to CSKA Moscow, having earned a 1-1 draw in Russia.

They also head into tonight's tie on the back of successive losses, the most recent a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Barcelona last weekend.

Braga have lost by more than one goal on only one of their last eight European away days so Braga +1 looks attractive on the Asian Handicap at [2.76]. A tenner on that bet pays out £17.40 if they win or draw, while you get your money back if Sevilla triumph by one goal.

In addition to that match, live on Sky Sports 2 at 7.45pm, you can watch and win in the Europa League with the clash between Anorthosis Famagusta and CSKA Moscow available for Betfair customers to watch on Betfair Live Video at 5pm.

The Russian giants were dominant 4-0 first-leg winners and considering their impressive travelling form - ten wins from their last 13 away outings - look a little lengthy at [2.12] to compound their Cypriot opponents' humiliation.
