Rubin Kazan need more Camp Nou heroics
There's only one spot in the last 16 still to be determined tonight but there's still something to play for in all four groups. We look at all the permutations and latest betting odds in each...
Group A
Tottenham and Inter Milan already have the qualification spots sewn up so the main source of final day excitement is provided by the battle to win the group. Inter must take more points off of Werder Bremen than Spurs manage in Holland to finish first, which is why they are rated [2.9] outsiders.
Group B
Schalke are a point clear of Champions League specialists Lyon and are on a high after defeating Bayern Munich yet they are [2.26] to stay top as they face a tough trip to Benfica while Lyon host bottom club Hapoel Tel Aviv, who admittedly need a win to potentially claim a Europa League place.
Group C
First place is up for grabs, although Valencia must take three points at Old Trafford to overhaul current table-toppers Manchester United, a prospect priced at [7.0]. If you're confident the Reds won't lose tonight but can't decide between the win and draw, back them to stay in front at [1.16].
Group D
FC Copenhagen and Rubin Kazan are battling to join Barcelona in the last 16. The Danes hold a point lead and entertain winless Panathinaikos, so are [1.09] favourites. For Rubin to spring a surprise at [9.4], they almost certainly have to beat Barcelona at the Camp Nou again and hope Copenhagen slip up.
