Betfair offer best odds on Braga triumph
They were embarrassed at the Emirates earlier this season but Sporting Braga winning away in Europe is no huge surprise - after all the Portuguese runners-up beat Sevilla 4-3 at the Pizjuan in the qualifiers - and those who kept faith with them last night will have reaped great rewards on Betfair.
According to our new website Betchecker, which compares payouts on Betfair with those of rival betting companies, anyone who stuck £10 on Braga being 1-0 victors in Serbia would have won back a cool £95, even deducting the maximum five per cent commission, whereas those who staked the same amount with Blue Square collected just £55.
Betfair were better on match odds too, with £20 on the Portuguese side coming out on top returning £42.75, while SportingBet customers only received a £36 prize for their success.
