It's been a magnificent three weeks for followers of betting.betfair's snooker pages with our top tipster Paul Krishnamurty advising three winners on the bounce. Mike Norman has all the details...
"Paul has now racked up three winners in as many weeks at odds of 8.27/1, 34.033/1, and 25.024/1, leaving the layers that dared oppose him well and truly snookered."
Snooker loopy nuts are we, we all follow... Mot-ty!
Well it's @paulmotty to give him his full Twitter handle, and the owner of that Twitter name is Paul Krishnamurty, our red hot snooker tipster.
Paul has now racked up three winners in as many weeks at odds of 8.27/1, 34.033/1, and 25.024/1, leaving the layers that dared oppose him well and truly snookered.
The good run started at the Betfair Masters where Paul had this to say about eventual winner Mark Selby...
"As snooker's form man after winning both the UK Championship and Munich Open, Selby must be the pick and if he does reach the semis without much fuss, pre-tournament odds of 8.27/1 will look enormous."
The next challenge for Motty was the Betfair World Snooker Shootout, a 64-man tournament with matches lasting just one frame. But few were quicker than Paul at putting up Martin Gould at pre-tournament odds of 34.033/1, our man having this to say about the eventual winner...
"A superb potter whose naturally attacking game seems to fall short at the highest level, because he lacks the tactical savvy to complement it. That weakness won't matter much in this format and the 'Pinner Potter' has already shown some prowess in the event, reaching the quarter-finals last year."
And so Paul moved on to the hat-trick attempt at last week's Betfair German Masters, another strong field with all the game's major forces (barring Ronnie of course) in attendance.
But the outcome was never in doubt, with Motty putting up Ali Carter at odds of 25.024/1 without any hesitation...
"Prior to the Masters, I argued Ali Carter was an improving player, still under the market's radar. Although he failed to deliver against John Higgins on that occasion, the theory still stands and the Captain deserves another chance from this draw. He's positioned in a section where his two supposed 'superiors' look well worth opposing."
So there you have it, a trio of Betfair-sponsored events, and a trio of fantastic winning selections from Betfair's very own Paul Krishnamurty.
Next up for snooker's hottest tipster is the Welsh Open and his preview will be on site very soon. Can you afford to miss it? No pressure Paul!
