Tonight's two quarter-finals have a once-sided look to them in terms of the Match Odds, but our man Wayne Mardle has delved into the stats to come up with a confident selection involving Phil Taylor...
"The stats tell us that Merv is averaging a 180 every 5.8 legs, that's not good at all, especially against Phil - who arguably hasn't even hit top gear yet - who is hitting one every three legs."

The two matches tonight could be routs, I really do hope not though. From a fans point of view I'd love to see Steve Beaton and Mervyn King play at their best and frighten the life out of Gary and Phil.
I've always thought that Taylor has been underestimated as a 180 hitter, but anyone who watches the sport knows he's not shy in that department.
And the stats from this tournament alone suggest that a price of 8/13 - short for some I know, but very appealing when you consider the stats - about Phil hitting the most maximums tonight is a price well worth taking.
Mervyn has amassed six 180s in 35 legs so far in his two matches at the Winter Gardens, while The Power has hit 11 in 34 legs played.
In addition, King has only hit more than five maximums twice in a match since 2012!
The stats tell us that Merv is averaging a 180 every 5.8 legs, that's not good at all, especially against Phil - who arguably hasn't even hit top gear yet - who is hitting one every three legs.
I know it's an odds-on price but I make this a good bet. Of course any outcome is possible but the odds seem a little generous.
Back Phil Taylor @ 8/13 to hit the Most 180s
