Wayne Mardle's is looking to follow up Wednesday's successful punt by backing Peter 'Snakebite' Wright to get the better of Adrian 'Jackpot' Lewis in what should be a great spectacle at the Winter Gardens...
"Snakebite Wright will not fear Lewis, and why should he? He's playing so much better than Adrian at the moment, Peter's tournament average is 99, with Adrian's at 88."

Just to put it out there, this is my head ruling my heart - which is how betting should be - as I'm a huge Adrian Lewis fan. I love the way he can play the game, it's effortless sometimes.
The talent Lewis possesses is outrageous but just sometimes talent alone doesn't cut it.
The way Jackpot is performing right now is way below his mean average.
Adrian was out of sorts against Gerwen Price, I assume all the hullabaloo around the encounter didn't help, but still, it wasn't the performance of a confident man.
He looks less composed and less assured than when he beat Peter Wright in the World Championships in December.
Snakebite Wright will not fear Lewis, and why should he? He's playing so much better than Adrian at the moment, Peter's tournament average is 99, with Adrian's at 88. That's a huge difference.
I think it'd take a real turnaround in confidence and concentration for Jackpot to win this quarter-final. With the steady nature of Peter's game Lewis won't be able to switch off for a minute.
