He's not the fastest player on the circuit by any means but Mensur Suljovic could be in for a quick night says Wayne Mardle as he looks ahead to Wedneday's action at Ally Pally...
"Mensur will be a tough opponent to beat in this tournament, and I really don't see any dramas here against Meulenkamp. He keeps the pressure applied, and I just feel it'll be all too much for the inconsistent Dutchman."

Mensur Suljovic v Ron Meulenkamp
Live on Sky Sports 1
Dutchman, Ron Meulenkamp will be a new name to many, but he's been around a couple of years now, just without any real success.
Ron has played in three World Championships before, two at Lakeside, and then at the Ally Pally in 2015, he's failed at the first hurdle every time. He's a slightly better player now in my opinion.
A few weeks ago, Ron produced some of his best darts ever at the Players Championship finals, to beat Stephen Bunting, then Gary Anderson, some task that.
On those occasions he held himself together and took his chances, but I feel even a performance akin to that may not be enough to beat Mensur.
The Austrian is without doubt the most improved player on the tour, and has been for the last year or so. Such is the rise of Suljovic, that he's now the world number eight.
Mensur is a master dartsman. He reminds me of James Wade in the way he plays. He takes the chances he makes for himself, yes he can score well, but his strength is his finishing. The combination shots he's mustered this year have helped him get the wins needed to reach the top eight of the world.
Mensur will be a tough opponent to beat in this tournament, and I really don't see any dramas here against Meulenkamp. He keeps the pressure applied, and I just feel it'll be all too much for the inconsistent Dutchman.
I love the under 15.5 legs bet here.
Ron Meulenkamp is decent enough, he can play, but he's always had a disaster at the World Championships, that could change of course, I'm just betting against it.
This should be a cosy win for the lovable Austrian.
