Can Mark Webster keep his good run going at Ally Pally?

Wayne Mardle has served up at least one winning tip for four days straight and he is relying on Mark Webster in his bid for five profitable days on the spin...

"Webby is playing superbly well. A recent spell of dynamite darting has given Mark the lift he needed to reignite his career."

Mark Webster to beat Alan Norris @ 4/5

Alan Norris v Mark Webster

I can't believe I'm backing against Alan Norris, he's the nicest man on earth. I feel terrible with my decision but I bet with the wallet in mind.

Webby is playing superbly well. A recent spell of dynamite darting has given Mark the lift he needed to reignite his career. He looked in danger of falling away and the possibility of dropping outside the top 32 was becoming more and more likely.

But a recent semi-final appearance in the Grand Prix and quarter-final in the Grand Slam has given the well-respected Welshman a huge fillip.

So far in this tournament he's played well without being brilliant, he took his chances well against Terry Jenkins in the previous round and ran out a 4-0 winner.

Norris is flying, after a sluggish start to his match with Joe Murnan he showed just why he's so highly regarded and why he's a man on the up. 'Chuck' as he's known won't fear Webster...and nor should he.

This is a game between two very good darters with similar traits, both throw nice and straight, deviation will be at a minimum during this game.

The game will be won by the man who performs best in the big legs, the man who wins the last leg deciders. Webster in my opinion is more likely to hit the requisite treble and double when being asked the question by his opponent.
