The favourites should come through in Wayne's selected matches tonight, but they might not have it all their own way...
"I'm hoping RJR can get stuck in early and panic the five-times world champ. Barney is known for not liking a battle and that's where I think we might score, Rowby is more than good enough to win a set and he'll not turn it in if he is trailing."
Smith is a better player than Sulijovic but that doesn't mean that he'll win without any moments of concern.
He's a fantastic player who has the world at his feet, with all his natural ability he'll be pushing the best of them and challenging for titles.
Where Michael is lacking is the fact that he cannot except the fact that sometimes he misses, he has to realise that players will play well against him and he'll get beaten.
Mensur will have to capitalise on Michael's misses, the likelihood is that he'll be outscored in a number of legs and will in all probability have to rely on the young St Helens slinger missing doubles. Mensur can cause Michael problems with his unorthodox style, the big Austrian has a unique action and sometimes takes a long time to approach the oche, this will in my opinion affect Smith's concentration, because of this I think he'll nick a set.
Back Smith to win 3-1 @ 3.412/5
Rowby is on the up and can cause Raymond a few problems in this match.
Mensur's fellow Austrian has a bit of a swagger to him and once he finds his range he's a dangerous if somewhat inconsistent type.
Barney is the huge odds-on fav but I don't think he'll have it all his win way.
I'm hoping RJR can get stuck in early and panic the five-times world champ.

Raymond Van Barneveld to win 3-1 @ 3.259/4
