After last week's cancellation due to bad weather the Premier League Darts roadshow resumes with a trip to Leeds, and our man Wayne Mardle fancies Gerwyn and Gerwen to bank some profit...
"The average spread is set a little low in my opinion at 93.5. In the UK Open finals Price beat that average in every game he played."
UK Open form a pointer to a good Price bet
I'm only interested in Gerwyn's performance here. The average spread is set a little low in my opinion at 93.5. In the UK Open finals Price beat that average in every game he played, granted, his Premier League form has been a little iffy.
At the weekend, Gerwyn looked more confident, more composed, and was playing with that swagger he's become known for. I've been saying if for weeks now, he needs to start relaxing, he's clearly a little anxious.
I believe the spread is so beatable. This is my punt of the night.
If Barney plays well, Gerwyn's average may just be a little more inflated, good news for us.

Magic to come from MVG against the Wizard
I don't want to be/sound dismissive of Simon here, but he shouldn't have too much to smile about during or after this game. Yes, on his day he can beat anyone but Michael is different class to him.
The match treble (Win Match, Most 180s, Highest Checkout) looks the bet. Since Michael told us he's trying to hit more maximums, as £100 goes to charity every time he does, he has to be backed in that market.
Now, the winner of the game, c'mon now, MVG is 1-6. You can't back against him...can you?
So, just the high finish to sort. I personally think Simon will win no more than 2-3 legs so how can you think he's going to have the highest finish in this match, I don't.
