Mervyn King is on a roll when it comes to hitting the 180s and so is Wayne Mardle by backing him to do so after bagging his fourth consecutive winner last night. And Hawaii 501 isn't about to desert King Merv's maximum hitting now...
"In his last two matches King has hit six maximums in 14 legs, and then nine in 27 legs. We just have to stick with the man that's done us proud all week so far."
Phil Taylor v Mervyn King

If I'm repeating myself then I'm sorry but I'm thinking that Merv's 180 hitting will win us money again following yesterday's successful wager.
He's still being underestimated, because he's not a flamboyant thrower he's often forgotten about. But he's finding his form at the right time and his 180 hitting has been brilliant all week. So we have no reason to desert him in that market whatsoever.
I'm not interested in what The Power will do as I'm concentrating on the King's performance.
The general thinking is that Merv will be routed by the five time Grand Slam champ - odds of just 1.162/13 for a Taylor victory tell you everything you need to know about how most people see this game ending.
But I don't think that will be the case, so therefore there'll be more legs played than anticipated and more chances for King to hit 180s. I anticipate that he'll go over the 5.5 mark again.
