We've reached week eight in this year's Premier League and the action moves to Dublin where our man Wayne Mardle fancies Gary Anderson to beat Wes Newton, and Dave Chisnall to keep hitting the 180s against Adrian Lewis...
"Dave has hit more 180s than anyone in this Premier League so far and I can't see any reason why he won't hit at least five or six more in this match."
Wes is struggling to get even a point at present but tonight he has a chance to get four as he has two games in Dublin.
In all fairness he's had to play Michael van Gerwen and Phil Taylor in recent weeks but when he's carved out a chance for himself with some super scoring he's somehow managed to falter. He'll need his scoring boots on again and his finishing boots too if he's going to get anything from this match however.
Anderson can be unreliable at times but he's playing well without winning as often as he should. On Tour Gary has won four times in the last three months so the form is there; he beat Taylor in a final on Saturday so he'll fancy his chances of a victory here.
For Wes to win this game I just feel that Gary will have to underperform, and I just can't see it as the Scot is playing with a confident swagger.
Back Anderson to Win @ 1.728/11
Lewis might be favourite to win the game but Chisnall should hit more maximums than the former world champion.
Dave has hit more 180s than anyone in this Premier League so far and I can't see any reason why he won't hit at least five or six more in this match; the pace that both like to play will suit and that should enable them to play their usual, power-scoring game.
Back Chisnall to hit the most 180s @ 1.824/5
