Wayne thinks that Peter Wright will be in for a tough night in Dublin against Dave Chisnall

We're off to Dublin for the 10th week of this year's Premier League darts, and our man Wayne Mardle has two recommended bets for you to consider at healthy prices...

"Peter has never made the play-offs in the Premier League, on two occasions he's had an end of season fall away. I know he's a better player now, I'm just stating a fact."

Dave Chisnall v Peter Wright

I've not gone mad, but I think Chizzy will not lose this match. His price is way too big.

Yes, he's been struggling, but a bit like Adrian Lewis, I've seen recent improvement.

Last week, Dave was beaten, and beaten well by Michael Van Gerwen, in fact he looked like getting whitewashed. What I saw in Dave's game was a lack of panic, that's something that's plagued him this season so far. He's looked unsettled most of the time, and if there was ever going to be a time to panic it was last week, but he held himself together really well and ended up having an average over 100.

At the weekend he played well again, losing to a resurgent Lewis in the final of a tour event.

Yes, Dave will need to be on his game but at 100/30 he seems a little too big for me. I'm liking the draw no bet too.

Peter Wright is playing well, he landed his first major event win just a few weeks ago, but would you back him at odds-on? Not for me.

Peter has never made the play-offs in the Premier League, on two occasions he's had an end of season fall away. I know he's a better player now, I'm just stating a fact.

I offered last week that Chizzy would become 'the spoiler', this in my opinion will be the first case of spoiling from the yellow peril.

Raymond van Barneveld v Phil Taylor

Live on Sky Sports 1

RVB is climbing the rankings again, while Phil is in free fall.

Since The Power stated this would be his last year on the tour his performance level has dropped sharply. He's now ranked number seven, Raymond is just one place behind.

The man who once dominated the darting world is now just a great darts player, not the best.

Taylor isn't the player under pressure he used to be, he buckles and gets agitated, becomes animated and sometimes a little petulant. In Rotterdam a few weeks ago he threw some darts like he'd given up mentally. It's a sign the fight and belief he once had just isn't as great as it was.

Let me just point out, Phil Taylor is still a wonderful darts player, who can still beat absolutely anyone. He just doesn't produce those Taylor-like performances that often.

Raymond is playing with a confidence and swagger. The action he has lends itself to making the games look so simple. When the greats of any sport play well it's always a sight to behold, Federer, Sampras, Els, MVG, and Barney is no exception. The Dutch darting deity is feared once again.

I'm backing Raymond because he's playing better than Phil, he's mentally stronger than Phil right now, and most of all, the odds are right.
