Dereck Chisora will now face David Price on October 26 after Joseph Parker had to pull out and Betfair Ambassador David Haye predicts an explosive late knockout for his man...

"My prediction for Chisora v Price at this stage is Derek Chisora by late stoppage."

Two big punchers

The fight between Dereck Chisora and David Price on October 26 is more fan friendly than the original involving Chisora and Joe Parker. Both men are big punchers and have scored exciting recent victories. Price had a do-or-die win over Dave Allen which was billed as a real 50/50 going in. It was great to see Price showing his level, which was significantly higher than that of Allen.

We're in a similar situation here with the previews suggesting this will be another pick-em contest. Chisora, in my opinion, should have a slight edge in the betting as he is on a great run of form. The only man to have beaten him recently was Dillian Whyte and even then, he was ahead in that fight at the time of the stoppage.

There will be many on the WAR Chisora bandwagon for this one but, let's not forget, Price is 6ft 9in tall, he's a heavy puncher and is very dangerous, particularly early. Both men will want to get their big shots off and that'll make this one exciting.

Another classic expected

Dereck Chisora has been involved in some classic fights over the years, not least those two with Whyte. He is a big hit with British boxing fans and that is down to his style. Go back a year or so and we saw him go toe-to-toe with the iron chin Carlos Takam. He was losing every moment of every round, until he landed that overhand right that bamboozled Takam. He then walked across the ring and detonated another almighty shot to take his man out.

Dereck will be involved in another thriller on 26 October against Price at the O2 Arena in London. We expect Price to come out and try to establish his long jab very early and try to keep Dereck at bay. It's for Chisora to close the gap and bring the heat. The fans are going to be absolutely salivating before that first bell because everyone knows just what we have in store with this one. I can't wait.

Chisora wants a shoot-out

My prediction for Chisora v Price at this stage is Dereck Chisora by late stoppage (stoppage in rounds 7-12 is currently 9/5). He's extremely fit at the moment, has prepared for this one to go into the later rounds and is ready to force the pace from the first bell. The idea is to drag David Price into a shoot-out as early as possible and if he achieves that, there's only going to be one winner.

The more bombs flying, the more fun the crowd are going to have and that will work in Dereck's favour. He's coming off some good form of late and is looking to really establish himself. He was ready for Joseph Parker and if you tell people you're ready for Joseph Parker then you're more than ready for David Price. Parker has campaigned at a much higher level that Price, recording a famous win over Andy Ruiz Jr. Dereck will walk to the ring on fight night with extreme confidence.
