Stags Leap was twice successful over seven furlongs as a juvenile prior to having his limitations exposed in a Group 3 at Ascot in October. He should stay this far, but this is no easy task on his handicap/all-weather debut.

Exceedthewildman has held his form extremely well on polytrack this winter, winning twice. He took another step in the right direction when second over C&D last time and he ought to be in the mix again.

Bint Doyen was green when making a winning debut over seven furlongs at Folkestone in October. She was still not fully clued up when last in a Group 2 later in the month and she is capable of better now tackling a longer trip.

Epic has produced largely creditable efforts on polytrack since his turf win, coming off third best behind Exceedthewildman over one mile here in January, but he could turn things around on better terms if his stamina holds out.

Yorksters Prince was much improved when narrowly winning a C&D claimer last month. He was a good third back in a handicap for his new yard here, but there are others who possibly possess greater scope.

Mnarani appreciated the stiffer stamina test when posting an improved effort over C&D on his return from 3 months off last week. He could well have more to offer.
