The Timeform Free Form Website has at least three likely winners on Sunday in sight.

'The calm before the storm' is a line that will be spun out time and time again in the couple of days leading up to the Cheltenham Festival. We'll leave that particular cliché and the hyperbole to others for now and simply concentrate on our three selections for Sunday.

Starting out at Towcester and it's halfway through the card before our first selection Farmers Cross (3.20) appears. It's a competitive handicap hurdle, but Farmers Cross looks the type who has more to offer for Ferdy Murphy, with his first outing for the yard at Sedgefield in November a promising one. Ferdy was among the winners again on Saturday at Ayr, and although he doesn't have too many runners at Towcester, his record at the track is eye-catching, his last thirteen visitors returning form figures of 21220212P23P3.

At Warwick, Pantalaimon (3.30) makes the most appeal in the three-mile handicap chase. Although he's a maiden, Pantalaimon is clearly well handicapped on what he showed on his first start over fences when third to Absolute Shambles at Huntingdon and it's far too soon to be writing him off after his flop at Doncaster last time on a day when many struggled under the conditions.

Quantity rather than quality is the order of the day in the mares' bumper at Warwick, the final race on their card, and Setter's Princess (5.00) rates a confident selection on the back of a promising debut at Kempton last month when belying odds of 25/1 to finish a clear third having looked green throughout.
