Saeed bin Suroor is expected to have another good day at the office.
Three selections from today's card at Meydan from Timeform's team of experts...
"In a race full of exposed performers the up-and-coming Roman Republic stands out like a sore thumb"

Quite a few of the field don't look as good as they once were so it's probably worth sticking with those in form. Global City is likely to take plenty of stopping in his bid for the four-timer but Lui Rei went into many a notebook on his first run for new connections and is fancied to go one better.

A lack of front runners may make this a bit messy, but the progressive Firebet showed a good turn of foot when second over 1¼m on his reappearance and he's taken to go one better with that run under his belt. Hat-trick seeking Drunken Sailor is an obvious danger, whilst Burdlaz looks the best of the three other Godolphin-trained runners.
5.30
In a race full of exposed performers the up-and-coming Roman Republic stands out like a sore thumb, especially with a promising reappearance (third to Roman's Run) fresh in the mind, and he is a confident selection. Jaroslaw may prove a danger if getting a run, whilst Kal Barg and Monte Alto seem likely to be thereabouts.
