Away from the excitement of Cheltenham, Kempton hosts an above-average all-weather card by mid-week standards, so the all-weather team are going to do their best to boost the funds before the final two days.
5:50 - It's worth banking on Misaro in the first. He's the pick on form and is sure to be placed with a repeat performance of his cosy success at Wolverhampton last week.
6:20 - Horses coming fresh from the turf have fared well this winter against more exposed all-weather horses so we're going to follow that angle in leg two with Tom Dascombe's Quaestor and Amanda Perrett's Lago Indiano
6:50 - It could well prove that Jarrow is a class above the rest in the third leg, but there's enough reason to think he's worth opposing for placepot purposes, especially with the tough and consistent Athwaab belatedly returned to six furlongs and he goes in along with Yer Woman who should be all the better for her recent return.
7:20 - Lucky Redback falls into the same bracket as Jarrow as one that is potentially a good way ahead of his mark but no placepot horse. Richard Hannon's four-year-old had a hard race when winning on return from a long absence at Lingfield recently so we're going to oppose him with Caprio, who has the prospect of an easy lead, and the consistent Jake The Snake.
7:50 - An early switch to listed company can prove too much for horse making only it's third start but four-year-old Buxted has already looked most professional in winning his two starts to date and there's every chance he'll have too much for what strikes as weak company for the grade.
8:20 - Another banker in the last with Chink of Light, who was still very much learning his job when getting off the mark in a maiden at this track recently, looking potentially a good deal better than this grade of handicap.
