Dundalk 7:00 - Place Lay - Russian View

Russian View, something of a standing dish around here, should be back to form with his recent return behind him but he tends to come from well off the pace so will need plenty of luck from his low draw. His form certainly entitles him to be near the head of the market but this is a very competitive race of its type and Eddie Lynam's 7-y-o is worth laying for a place.

Dundalk 8:30 - Win Back - Airspace

John Murtagh takes the ride on Airspace in the second of the 6f handicaps and it is a hint that should be taken. Airspace was really getting his act together towards the end of last season, finishing in the frame on his last 3 starts including when third on his handicap debut here. He has actually been dropped 2 lb since last seen and has the speed to make the most of his low draw.

Dundalk 9:25 - Win Back - Jigalo

Jigalo, who has looked better than ever over hurdles of late, is potentially thrown in off a mark of 56 on his first start on the Flat since October 2008. On his last 2 starts over hurdles he has finished runner-up in a pair of competitive handicaps at Leopardstown, beaten only a length by Tarkari off a mark of 114 on the second occasion. This may not take much winning and Jigalo would be a very short price if it was over hurdles.
