Nicky Henderson's Anquetta should get the bet off to a flyer at 1.50.

Once bitten, twice shy! Having ended up on the wrong side of the old 'take one, or take all?' conundrum in Ludlow's four-runner novice chase yesterday, a slightly more conservative approach is adopted at Newbury today in the hope of getting back this week's losses.

"Sir Kezbaah looks tight enough in the market for win purposes, though he's ideal for a 'pot' given his front-running style lends itself to a 'hands and heels' race."

1.50 - Only Pendower has the ability to get close to Anquetta, but the latter has the benefit of experience and recent action, so banking on the Henderson runner looks the way to go.

2.20 - Hardly any of these look sure to show their form, but Wee Robbie and Carlitos have more to recommend them than most and at least one of them should feature, the former well handicapped and a possible win play for what it's worth.

2.55 - A race high on quantity rather than quality and a reproduction of Rebeccas Choice's recent efforts seems certain to have her on the premises, while Regal Approach ties in with that mare on last month's Sandown running and warrants inclusion, too.

3.30 - The four at the head of the weights all have doubts about them and it wouldn't surprise if Michigan d'Isop and Arturo Uno dominated.

4.05 - Sir Kezbaah looks tight enough in the market for win purposes, though he's ideal for a 'pot' given his front-running style lends itself to a 'hands and heels' race. A few handicap debutants add spice to this, but it'd be unfortunate if neither he nor the in-form Marley Roca managed to figure in the finish.

4.40 - Surely a very small field can't cost us twice in a row, especially if Kjetil's point form is indeed as weak as it looks. If that is the case, it's sure to go to either the apparently revitalised Joaaci or hunter chase regular Mr Ed.
