Another three to watch from the Timeform team
"Noun De La Thinte completed a three-timer for the month of December when winning a handicap chase at Leicester on Monday. Everything she did that day suggested there is improvement to come, jumping well, travelling with zest and showing a determined attitude when challenged from two out."
Forzy Origny finished third in a Grade 1 4-y-o chase when last seen in France in 2006 and shaped as though there is still plenty of mileage in him when making his debut for Alan King in a handicap hurdle at Kempton on Boxing Day. His three-year absence from the racecourse obviously suggests he has had his problems, but he caught the eye here with the way he closed going strongly three out and was ultimately spared a hard race as the principals struck on, giving the understandable impression that he needed the run. Hailing from a decent family, and proven at up to two and three quarter miles, he can go on from this. A. King
Noun De La Thinte completed a three-timer for the month of December when winning a handicap chase at Leicester on Monday. Everything she did that day suggested there is improvement to come, jumping well, travelling with zest and showing a determined attitude when challenged from two out. She holds a couple of entries in the coming days and will take some stopping under a penalty. Miss Venetia Williams
Noble Prince ran a good race in the Grade 2 Christmas Hurdle at Leopardstown on Monday, making pleasing headway to lead on the bridle between the last two flights before weakening on the run-in, the trip seemingly his undoing. On this evidence, he is clearly up to winning Graded hurdles at around two and a half miles. Paul Nolan, Ireland
