Murray cannot hide his disappointment as he loses to Nadal
"Nadal will go off the [1.37] favourite to lift another Wimbledon title. His Czech opponent Berdych will be a [3.6] underdog."
Nadal advances to the final as Murray falls short of the final again
Chalk up another Wimbledon semi-final defeat for the home nation. After the Tim Henman-era, Andy Murray is threatening more of the same after repeating his last-four exit of 2009, this time at the hands of Rafael Nadal.
There was no shame in going out to Nadal in straight sets - a results that was backed at [7.0] - the world no.1 was at his imperious best throughout, producing winners at will and turning his game up a notch when needed.
Tomas Berdych awaits in the final for the Spaniard, who will go off the [1.37] favourite to lift another Wimbledon title. His Czech opponent will be a [3.6] underdog.
Murray, the fourth seed, was backed at a low of [2.14] to beat Nadal but was on the back foot throughout. The Scot was rarely able to get his head in front and though he troubled Nadal at times, the former Wimbledon champion always had something in reserve when needed. The wait for UK tennis fans goes on.
