Petkovic is competing in only her third US Open with tonight's match, representing her first ever Grand Slam fourth round tie.

Viewed by many as a potential top 10 player, Petkovic who is ranked 38 in the world, has the type of game that can unravel all the good work and confidence that Zvonareva exudes at the moment. The twenty-two-year-old tenacious grinder, who never say, die at the moment, will fight to the bitter end.
