Ben Caudell picks the best bets from tonight's semi-final between two contrasting players - the steady and consistent back-court play of Wozniacki and the attacking aggression of Wickmayer.

Yannina Wickmayer is one of two Belgians left in the women's draw; the other is Kim Clijsters. This is reminiscent of the period when Kim Clijsters and Justin Henin governed the women's game.
Wickmayer is no Justine Henin yet; however the 20-year-old has improved her game considerably over the last 12 months rising to a career high of 50 in the Sony Ericsson rankings. Having gone unnoticed under the radar for most of the year, partly due to her poor records at Grand Slams, Wickmayer has in fact won a tour title (Estoril) and reached a final (s-Hertogenbosch). She is currently 9 -1 for all matches and has only dropped a single set so far at this year's US Open.
Ninth set Caroline Wozniacki has the world at her feet. The 19-year-old Danish Superstar has fulfilled the promise she showed when competing as a junior. Her preparation for the event has been perfect, winning New Haven the week before and she is now 10-0 in all matches and has only dropped one set. Troubled whilst playing against the powerful Svetlana Kuznetsova, a similar player to Yannina Wickmayer, the Dane managed to steady the boat forcing the Russian out-side of her comfort zone and into hitting copious amounts of unforced errors.
I believe that Wozniacki will relish the prospect of facing Serena Williams in Final; she doesn't seem like a player who is fazed by the riotous Arthur Ashe crowd and instead takes everything in her stride. Tonight, if the weather holds off and we get a glimpse of play, this should be a straight forward win for the blonde bombshell.
