French teenager Tatiana Golovin stunned Venus Williams with a 6-2 6-2 victory to book her place in the Bausch & Lomb Championships semi-finals in Florida.

Golovin broke her opponent's serve five times as she secured a second win in as many matches against the five-time Grand Slam winner, who was playing only her third tournament of the year.

"I put a lot of pressure on her right from the start," said Golovin. "I was getting everything back.
"It was one of the better matches I've played all season so I'm really happy."
Golovin will now play Ana Ivanovic in the last four of the competition, after she beat second seed and compatriot, Serbian Jankovic, 7-5 6-3.

Third seed Daniela Hantuchova also went tumbling out of the competition after she lost to Austria's Sybille Bammer.
Top seed and defending champion, Nadia Petrova, avoided defeat as she beat her fellow Russian, Dinara Safina, 6-4 7-5.
Golovin can be backed at 2.08 to cause another upset and beat Ivanovic, who is the 1.9 favourite on the Match Odds market. Golovin is also on offer at 3.35 to go one better and win the event, with Petrova the 2.02 favourite.
