Andy Murray has made it through to the third round of the Pacific Life Open in Indian Wells, with a comfortable straight sets win over Wesley Moodie.
Having received a bye in the first round, the British number one eased past his South African opponent 6-3 6-3.
Murray, seeded 13th for the California event, will now play either Russia's Marat Safin or Nicolas Mahut of France.
The Scot will certainly fancy his chances of a good run in the tournament, especially after Roger Federer's defeat to Guillermo Canas on Sunday.
The victory for Canas, who returned to the tour last September after a 15-month suspension for doping offence, appears to have blown the Masters Event wide open.
Rafael Nadal, who hasn't won a tournament since last year's French Open, is now the 4.6 favourite to win the Indian Wells tournament, with Germany's Tommy Haas next best at 7.
Andy Roddick is trading at 7.6, with Murray available at 8.2. For those who fancy Canas to follow up his shock win with tournament success, the Argentinian can be backed at 24.
