Defending champion Andy Murray got the better of Andy Roddick again to book his place in the final of the SAP Open in San Jose.
British number one Murray, who beat Roddick at the same semi-finals stage last year, overcame the top seed in straight sets, 7-6 (10/8) 6-4, and will now face the big-serving Croatian Ivo Karlovic, who defeated Benjamin Becker 7-6 (7/5) 7-5 in the day's other semi-final.
The 19-year-old Scot saved a series of set-points in a first-set tie-break before clinching the set with a backhand pass.
And a single break in the second set was enough for Murray to clinch another impressive win over Roddick.
"In the tie-break, obviously he had a couple of set points but after that I felt in control," said Murray.
"I returned well, I passed well and got into a lot of his service games and apart from one service game in the first set I think I played a good match."
Murray backers can find him at 2.1 to win the final in straight sets and at 4.4 to seal a two-sets-to-one victory, while Karlovic is available at 6.4 to win in straight sets and at 5.9 to win by two sets to one on the Set Betting markets.
Murray is currently trading at 1.43 in the Match Odds market, while Karlovic is on offer at 3.25.
