Defending women's champion Justine Henin will face Russia's Elena Vesnina in the first round of the French Open, while men's champion Rafael Nadal has been drawn against Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro.
Both Henin and Nadal are seeking third consecutive titles at Roland Garros, with both firm favourites with Betfair punters to lift their respective trophies next month in Paris.
The Belgian is trading at 2.7 to win the women's event, with several players missing through injury, while the Spaniard can be backed at 1.82 to see off all challengers in the men's draw.
With Martina Hingis and Kim Cljisters both missing and injury doubts over Amelie Mauresmo and Maria Sharapova, Betfair customers see Serena Williams (6.6) as the main threat to Henin.
Eighth seed Williams, who is in Henin's half of the draw, will face Tsvetana Pironkova of Bulgaria in round one.
Despite his dominance on clay, Nadal is seeded two for the French Open with Roger Federer the top seed for a tournament he has never one.
The world number (3.25 to win the event) boosted his confidence with victory over Nadal in Hamburg last weekend. The Swiss ace will face American Michael Russell in the first round.
