Andy Murray is moving on to Miami after his hopes of reaching a first career Masters Series final in Indian Wells were dashed by fellow teenager Novak Djokovic.
The 19-year-old Scot heads straight to Florida for another chance to reach a major tournament's endgame in the Sony-Ericsson Open later this week.
Murray, who lost to Djokovic less than 19 hours after his epic quarter-final win over Tommy Haas, said: "I'll take a couple of days off, see the physios in Miami, and hopefully I will be okay by then. None of the injuries is too bad."
After having his serve broken early in the second set, Murray took a time-out for treatment on the injuries he sustained during a fall against Haas, when he twisted his ankle and fell, banging his hip on the hard-court surface.
The British number one later admitted he had considered quitting during the stoppage but was assured by the trainer he would do nothing to exacerbate the injury by playing on.
Murray said: "If I didn't go on the court that would have been fine - but when I did go on, I might as well have played the match because it's not like it was going to get any worse.
"It's just every single place that I moved to, whether it be my elbow, or roll onto my side and it was the cut on my knee, it was just like I felt pretty uncomfortable. But none of them was really bad.
"It has been a great week and a great start to the year. It was just unfortunate I wasn't in good enough shape to put up a better fight than that. Novak held his concentration well and made it difficult for me."
The Dunblane-born star will be among those players hoping to avoid defending champion Roger Federer's half of the draw in Miami, to boost his final prospects.
