Andy Murray played down his injury problems after moving into the fourth round of the Miami Masters with a straight sets victory over Robert Kendrick.
The British number one injured himself when falling in the quarter-final clash with Tommy Haas at his last tournament in Indian Wells, and was clearly hampered when losing in the last-four showdown with Novak Djokovic in California.
However, the 19-year-old has moved into the last 16 in Florida with little trouble and breezed past the American 6-3 6-1 to set up an encounter with Frenchman Paul-Henri Mathieu.
It was touch-and-go as to whether the Scot would take his place in the Miami line-up but he has overcome the physical and mental side of the injuries and is enjoying his time in Key Biscayne.
"I hurt myself against Haas and woke up afterwards aching and bruised," he said.
"But I felt pretty good today. I was a little bit nervous about my hip and ankle in my first match here but I feel much better now.
"I served pretty consistently. I felt when I was in the point I would be more consistent."
Asked about his chances of beating his next opponent, the Dunblane-born starlet revealed: "Mathieu can be one of the best players in the world when he is on form."
Murray can be backed at 26 to win in Miami and claim his second tournament victory of the season, while world number one Roger Federer trades as the 1.49 favourite.
Rafael Nadal, fresh from his victory at Indian Wells, is available at 5.4 and Andy Roddick is on offer at 23.
