Andy Murray continues to impress and is through to the quarter-finals of the Indian Wells Masters event after victory over Nikolay Davydenko.
The British number one claimed a straight-sets victory over the world number four, 7-6 6-4, a result that is likely to move Murray further up the rankings.
The Scot fired ten aces in the fourth-round clash and admitted afterwards that he was pleased with the way he saw out the match.
Murray said: "I was a bit nervous at the end but managed to come through it. This court is a little bit slower I think than the other ones.
"It didn't bounce like the outside courts, it took a while to get used to. I'm happy with how I adjusted."
The 19-year-old will now face eighth seed Tommy Haas in the last eight, after the German beat Fernando Gonzalez 6-3 6-2.
Haas is the 1.72 favourite to progress to the semis with Murray currently trading 2.36 to continue his run in California.
Rafael Nadal heads the Pacific Life Open win market at 2.98 with Murray available at 7.6, while Haas can be backed at 5.8.
