World number one loses to French outsider and Nadal drifts to maximum odds before saving three match-points...

Andy Murray is [4.5] favourite to win the Paris Masters after surviving a late-night three setter against James Blake.

The Brit won 6-3 6-7 7-6 against Blake and now leads the market after Roger Federer was knocked out by Julien Benneteau.

Federer traded at [1.02] going into the second set tie-break against Benneteau, having bagged the first set 6-3. But the Frenchman took the match to a decider, which he claimed 6-4 for a shock success.

Benneteau traded at a high of [50.0] on Betfair.

Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal drifted to [55.0] on his way to victory over Nicolas Almagro. The world number two saved five match points in the second set - including three match points in a row at 5-6, 0-40 - before leveling the match in the ensuing tie-break, and winning the decider 7-5.

Over £52,000 was matched on Almagro at the minimum price of [1.01] on Betfair.

One punter managed to back Nadal at the maximum price of [1000.00] for the tournament when the Spaniard looked down and out.

Murray, who plays Radek Stepanek in the third round on Thursday, is now the [4.5] favourite to win the tournament. Novak Djokovic trades at [5.1], and Nadal is back in to [6.4].
