Betfair tennis punters will have been alerted to the news that Maria Sharapova could miss the French Open through injury.
The world number two has been forced to withdraw from next week's Italian Open in Rome due to a shoulder problem.
Sharapova has not played on the WTA Tour since losing to Serena Williams in Miami back in March and now there are real doubts over her participation at Roland Garros.
The 20-year-old revealed on her website: "My body is slowly getting better but in no way will I be ready to play in Rome.
"I just want my fans to know that I am doing everything possible to be ready to play at the French Open."
Sharapova is currently trading at 11 to win the French Open, which gets under way on May 27.
Justine Henin heads the market at 2.54, with Serena Williams next best at 4.5 and home favourite Amelie Mauresmo on offer at 9.2.
