Russia's women have made the semi finals of the Fed Cup after a comfortable first round win over Spain.
Svetlana Kuznetsova sealed her country's progress with a singles win, 6-3 4-6 6-0, over Anabel Medina Garrigues in Moscow.
The world number five's victory gained her side an unassailable 3-0 lead in the tie, as Russia aim to win their third Fed Cup title in four years.
Kuznetsova and co will now face either USA or Belgium in the last four, with the Americans currently leading 2-0. The semi-finals take place on July 14 and 15.
