The International Cricket Council have snubbed a second appeal from the Pakistan Cricket Board to delay the announcement of their World Cup squad.
Pakistan have been hit by a string of injuries in recent months, with the likes of Shoaib Akhtar, Shabbir Ahmed, Umar Gul and Mohammad Sami currently sidelined.
Officials had approached the ICC to request if they could delay naming their team until after their tour to South Africa - which ends on February 16 - three days after the official deadline.
A PCB statement said: "The ICC said if we had injuries, we could ask for replacements from the technical committee."
Pakistan, having traded at 13.5, are currently available at 10.5 to lift the World Cup in the West Indies.
Australia remain the 2.74 favourites despite their recent stuttering form against England, who can be backed at 13.5.
