says he is looking forward to a potential semi-final clash against Roger Federer after brushing past Olivier Rochus 6-2, 6-0 in his Dubai Open quarter-final clash.
Haas took just 49 minutes to sweep past his Belgian opponent and says he is confident of giving Federer a good game if the two go head-to-head.
"It's one of those days where everything seemed to work pretty well," Haas revealed after his win. "I got a little bit more rest last night."
"It is what it is, every time you get to play more matches it feels better and that's certainly what it was today. It's not so windy today, and I just had a better rhythm."
Haas says he is now looking forward to meeting Federer if the world number one manages to get past the young Serbian, Djokovic, in his quarter-final clash.
"Let's see how he does tonight, [but] I looking forward to playing him every time, like most of us, and the way I'm playing right now it should be a pretty interesting match," he added.
Haas is trading at 10.5 to win the tournament with Federer still the 1.29 favourite.
